About

For as long as I can remember I've wanted to understand how things work; that curiosity is what pulled me toward mechanical engineering in the first place. Outside of school, I spend a lot of time restoring and working on my own car, which scratches the same itch: pull it apart, figure out why it does what it does, put it back together better. When I'm not in the shop, I'm usually playing guitar, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or reading into philosophy — I like slow, structural thinking as much as I like fast, mechanical problems.

    • Produced and managed product photography for GCL Diesel's parts catalogue, supporting online listings across an extensive inventory.
    • Built a repeatable visual-documentation workflow — consistent lighting, staging, and file naming — so catalogue imagery stayed accurate and easy to search.
    • Cross-checked parts against inventory records to keep every listing correctly identified and organized.

    Club Demonstration Services

    • Engaged a steady stream of customers each shift, presenting product features and fielding questions on a busy retail floor.
    • Adapted quickly to a rotating product lineup, learning new product details each week and tailoring the pitch to each shopper.
    • Ran setup, demonstration, and teardown independently while holding to food-safety and cleanliness standards.

Projects

Venturi Flow Meter

Designed a Venturi flow meter that applies Bernoulli's principle to determine flow rate from the pressure differential across a converging–diverging throat. The body was modelled in Fusion 360, and a short Arduino IDE sketch reads the pressure/flow sensor input and converts it into a live flow-rate estimate. The project was chosen for its direct relevance to Alberta's oil, gas, and process-instrumentation industry.
